This Cookie Policy explains how Bellvox uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our platform, what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read together with the Bellvox Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more secure, and to provide information to the site’s operators.
Alongside cookies, we may use similar technologies that perform comparable functions, including:
- Pixels and tags (small images or code snippets used to measure activity);
- Local storage and session storage (used to remember information in your browser);
- Software development kits (SDKs) within our applications; and
- Device and browser identifiers.
In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies.”
2. Why we use cookies
Bellvox may use cookies to:
- Operate the website and platform;
- Maintain secure login sessions;
- Remember your preferences and settings;
- Protect account security and detect fraud;
- Understand how the website and product are used;
- Measure the performance of our marketing;
- Improve user experience; and
- Diagnose technical problems.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Essential cookies
Required for security, authentication, account access, and basic website functionality. These cookies are necessary for the site to work and cannot be switched off in our systems.
Preference cookies
Used to remember language, region, display, theme, or other user settings so we can provide a more personalized experience.
Analytics cookies
Used to understand website and product usage, for example, which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site, so we can improve performance and reliability. Where required, these are only set with your consent.
Advertising cookies
Used, where applicable and permitted, to measure the effectiveness of campaigns or to deliver relevant marketing. Where required, these are only set with your consent.
4. What this website uses
On this website (bellvox.ai), we use:
Essential
- Your cookie choice. When you choose Accept or Decline in the cookie banner, your browser’s local storage keeps that choice, so we don’t ask again.
- Page changes. A short marker in your browser’s session storage, used only for the animation between two pages and removed as soon as the next page opens.
- Administrator sign-in. A cookie that keeps the website’s own administrators signed in while they edit it. It is set only for them.
Analytics, only after you accept
- PostHog measures how visitors use the website, such as the pages they open, switching language, choosing an industry, pressing “Build your agent” and tapping “WhatsApp us”, so we can improve it. It keeps its own identifiers in cookies or local storage on your device.
Advertising measurement, only after you accept
- Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms, measures our Facebook and Instagram ads: it records a page view, and when someone presses “Build your agent” or taps “WhatsApp us”. It sets its own cookies on your device.
PostHog and the Meta Pixel do not load until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Decline, they do not load. To change your choice, clear this website’s stored data in your browser settings; the banner will then ask again.
5. First-party and third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by Bellvox directly (first-party cookies). Others may be set by third-party service providers that help us operate the website and platform, for example, analytics, security, hosting, or marketing providers (third-party cookies).
Your use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms and privacy notices. Bellvox does not control cookies set by independent third parties.
6. How long cookies last
Session cookies
Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser. They are typically used to keep you signed in and to maintain a secure session.
Persistent cookies
Cookies that remain on your device for a defined period, or until you delete them. They are used to remember your preferences and to recognize you on return visits.
7. Managing your cookie preferences
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Through the Bellvox cookie banner or preference center, where available;
- Through your browser settings, which usually let you block or delete cookies;
- Through your device settings; and
- Through available industry opt-out tools for advertising cookies.
Please note that essential cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality, and disabling certain other cookies may affect how the website or platform works for you.
8. Do Not Track and global privacy signals
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is currently no universally accepted standard for responding to all such signals. Bellvox may recognize legally required browser-based opt-out preference signals where applicable and technically supported.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
Bellvox may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the technologies we use, changes in our practices, or legal and regulatory developments. When changes are made, Bellvox will update the “Last Updated” date, and will provide additional notice where required.
